I have been to your office in Barrow a number of times to get some information, but the office was shut and there was no information displayed that i could pick up and read or take away.
When i did manage to find the office open, they told me they no longer have any leaflets on services provided in Barrow.
For an organisation that claims to – speak up for the mental health community – i find this odd.
If you do not provide information, who does. I did in the end find the information i wanted on your website, but that is no excuse for not having leaflets on display at the office.
yes, it was on monday 16 january. i spoke to a gentleman called peter kirkby. he said he was a volunter and trustee.
Hello Thelma, i was very disappointed to hear that you had been sent away empty handed. Mr Kirby is a trustee but does not man the office. We are a signposting organisation but dont always have enough volunteers to be here everyday. Please accept our apologies and hope you got some good information from our website.
Hello Thelma, Can i ask when you visited the office and who told you we have no information? The office is manned normally monday to thursday. We do have leaflets on some services in Barrow eg safa, first steps etc so i find it surprising that you were told this. At the very least we could have given you some addresses and phone numbers. I would be interested to find out who told you this and when?
